Premium Zenobia Wreck 2-Dive Trip with Check-Up Dive

Explore the legendary Zenobia wreck on a carefully organised premium diving experience from Protaras, including a personal check-up dive before the main trip. The Zenobia was a 172-metre Swedish roll-on/roll-off ferry that sank on her maiden voyage in 1980. Today, she rests on her port side at depths between approximately 16 and 42 metres. Her enormous size, loaded trucks, bridge, propellers and abundant marine life make every dive different. A personal check-up dive is included and must be completed no later than one day before the Zenobia trip. During this relaxed preparation dive, we adjust your equipment, weighting and configuration and check essential diving skills. This ensures that everything fits correctly and that valuable time on the Zenobia boat is spent diving rather than solving avoidable equipment problems. On the main day, we collect you from your accommodation and travel together to Larnaca. The trip includes two guided dives at the Zenobia with a surface interval of approximately 90 minutes. The dive routes are chosen according to your certification, experience, comfort level and the conditions on the day. You will always remain within your certified depth and experience limits. You will be personally guided in English or German by Eve or Maddy, the owners and PADI instructors of Diveteam Cyprus. Our group is deliberately limited to a maximum of four guests. There are no changing guides and no rushed mass-diving schedule. An Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent qualification is required. A valid Nitrox certification is also necessary. If you do not yet have one, the PADI Nitrox course can be added to your booking. It consists mainly of e-learning and a short practical session. No separate training dive is required. Hotel transfers, the check-up dive, full high-quality rental equipment, boat fees and two 12-litre steel cylinders filled with Nitrox are included. A strict zero-tolerance policy applies to alcohol and recreational drugs. All participants must arrive completely sober with a blood alcohol level of 0.0. Anyone who has consumed alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to dive. Meals are not included or guaranteed. During summer, we usually bring a cooler with drinks, snacks or fresh fruit from the local farmers’ market as a complimentary extra. We organise the equipment, transfers and dive planning. Perfect weather, flat seas and turtles appearing on command remain outside our area of authority.
